Chris von Szombathy
“Chris von Szombathy is a visual and auditory artist/producer residing in Vancouver, Canada. He serves as musical director for children’s/electro project Audio Ahdeo Awdio and for the avant-pop Tour de Fours and had his first book of visual art, ‘fire away’, published by Drawn & Quarterly in early 2008.
Currently he is working on his second book and solo show dealing with his experiences as an agoraphobe. He is also creating new audio material for another Audio Ahdeo Awdio record, designed to aid the act of digestion, and the third album from Tour de Fours.
He has been nominated for a Western Canadian Music Award and a Pigskin Peters Award (Doug Wright Awards).”
